The man for solving problems on the road
Tomasz joined Cryptoreporter in July 2021. You won't find him in a tie, as he spends most of his time on the phone or directly at our terminals on Piotrkowska. If your bike won't release from the electric catch or you have trouble linking your Migawka card, he is probably the one who will pick up your call. He knows each of our 47 stations in Łódź like the back of his hand and knows which rack at Manufaktura sometimes likes to go on strike.
Working in support is not just about taking calls. Tomek makes sure the system runs without downtime. Last month he personally helped 156 people who had trouble logging in for the first time. His record is solving a blocked card case in exactly 2 minutes and 14 seconds. He believes a bike ready in a minute is not a promise, but a standard we must maintain every day, because no one wants to be late for work due to an app error.
Before he came to us, Tomasz worked for 4 years in electronics service, which helps us a lot. When a terminal on the route stops reading contactless cards, he can assess the situation in 3 minutes and send the repair crew exactly where they are needed. He doesn't like waffle – if something doesn't work, he says it straight out and gives a specific repair time. Honesty toward customers is fundamental for him, even if we have to admit to a system error.
Privately, Tomasz is a two-wheel fanatic who skips traffic daily. He tests our bikes himself on the route from Bałuty to the center to check if everything is okay. He often repeats that a city card is enough to change the way you move around Łódź, and he is the best example. If you meet him at a service station, feel free to ask about the best shortcuts through Piotrkowska's courtyards – he knows them all.
At Cryptoreporter, he is also responsible for training new people. He makes sure everyone on the team knows how to quickly unlock a user account after three wrong PIN attempts. Thanks to his procedures, the wait time for a hotline connection dropped by 31% over the last quarter. Tomasz simply likes things done quickly and specifically, without unnecessary waiting on the line.
Sometimes the situation is difficult, especially when it rains and everyone suddenly wants to return bikes in one place. Tomasz keeps a cool head then. He can efficiently redirect logistics to free up spots at the Fabryczna station. Pay and ride – it should be simple, and Tomasz is here so nothing stands in your way. If you have an unusual problem with a ride invoice, feel free to write directly to him.
