Cryptoreporter Privacy Policy

Who cares for your data?

We, the Cryptoreporter team, handle your data as diligently as our purple bikes. You can find our office in Łódź at ul. Piotrkowska 102. We are a small team of 7 people and we respect your time and peace. Your information is safe with us and we use it only so you can quickly skip the traffic on Piłsudskiego. The data controller is Cryptoreporter, and if you have any doubts, you can write directly to Marek at [email protected]. We usually reply within 3 business hours, without any waffle.

What do we know about you?

We collect only what we really need for the system to function. When you register at one of our 47 stations, we ask for your name, email address, and phone number. If you use the Łódź Migawka card, we save its number so you can rent a bike just by tapping the card on the terminal. For card payments, we use secure operators, so we don't see your full financial data ourselves. We also record your ride history. We do this so the system correctly calculates the minute fee and so we know where you need new bikes most often.

Cookies and station map

Our website uses simple cookies. These are small files that let us remember you're logged in. Thanks to them, the map of 47 stations loads faster, and you don't have to enter your password every time. We also use basic statistics that tell us how many people visited our site on a given day. These aren't complicated tools for tracking your life. We are only interested in whether users find free bikes in the center and if our site works efficiently on phones. You can disable these files in your browser at any time.

Your rights are clear

You rule your data. You have the right to ask us at any time exactly what we know about you. If you change your phone number or name, just let us know – we'll fix it immediately. You can also completely delete your account from the Cryptoreporter system. In that case, we will delete your data unless tax regulations require us to keep invoices for a certain period. We don't send any spam or ads from third-party companies. If we have an important announcement for you, for example about a new station near Manufaktura, you'll get a short message from us, but you can always opt-out.

Safety on the route and online

We make sure no unauthorized person looks into our databases. We use encrypted connections and modern security on our servers. Access to information about your rides is held by only a few people in our team who handle billing and technical support. We never sell or give your data to anyone else. We take your privacy seriously because we know trust is built long but can be lost in a second. Thanks to this, you can focus on riding and skipping traffic, and we'll take care of the rest.
